Pratibha Karanji

Edgar Degas says “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”.
The all round development of our kids at GHPS (Gubbalala Higher Primary School) has been our motto from the very outset.  Encouraging, recognizing and developing the non academic talents of our children is an integral part of the work we do.
In that context, we are overjoyed to inform you that our children set new benchmarks at the Pratibha Karanji competitions this year.  At the Taluk level , one student from Class 7 has secured the FIRST place in Clay Modelling. The annual inter-school competition also saw our children secure 9 prizes across various categories at the local level.  From clay modelling to singing to storytelling to fancy dress and more, they held their own and made us proud.
The winners at the TALUK level are :
  • Vinayaka – 1st place, clay modelling
The winners at the inter-school level are :
  • Vinayaka – 1st place, clay modelling
  • Rekha – 1st place, Bagawatha geete
  • Sona – 1st place, Dharmikapata
  • Indu Bai – 1st place, Pick & speak

Our special thanks to all the TCF and Govt teachers who helped these kids prepare for these competitions.  This would not have been possible without their joint team effort.
On behalf of all you, TCF presented awards to the kids to recognize their achievements and encourage further exploration of the arts.
