General Activities

Taramandala Talent Search Awards – Every year TCF sponsors 25 students from GHPS to participate in a Talent Search Exam conducted by Taramandala. For this academic year (2019-20), GHPS students have secured the following outstanding ranks (In Maths – 1 National, 2 State, 1 District, 1 Taluk, 2 Block ranks, In Kannada – 2 State and 2 District ranks, In Science – 2 State and 2 District ranks). Congratulations to the students on this brilliant performance. TCF honored the award students with cash awards.

GHPS Alumni Meet – TCF has specific focus on alumni students of GHPS who have moved on to various other schools/colleges, pursuing further studies. To ensure that TCF stays connected with these students and to guide them towards their future educational aspirations, Alumni meets are frequently arranged.

Inter-School Meet – In order to ensure that GHPS students can experience meeting and spending quality time with fellow students from other schools, TCF arranged students from neighborhood schools/colleges to visit GHPS and engage in academic / non-academic activities.

Student Art Work – Apart from academics, GHPS students are frequently encouraged to showcase their talents in non-academic areas. Whether it be participating in Prathibha Karanji or Children’s day or Festivals, GHPS students are always ready to exhibit these skills in the most colorful way.

Children’s Day Celebration – This day had several planned activities which brought out the ‘kid’ in every child. Games, magic show, art, dance, awards were some of the activities that generated huge enthusiasm among all the students. A group of volunteers also took this opportunity to involve the students in painting traditional board games on the floor of the campus. It was a fun-filled day, which was thoroughly enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

Teacher’s Day Celebration – Students at GHPS surprised all the teachers and TCF volunteers, by organizing a special ‘Thank You’ event. This event was solely driven by the kids and not coached by any teachers. It was nice to see them stand up and Thank the teachers for all their efforts.

School Painting – After the completion of additional rooms construction and a fresh coat of paint on outer walls of school building, a group of enthusiastic TCF well wishers further beautified the walls, with their creative painting skills. Students of GHPS also participated with all enthusiasm , doing their bit of painting and result is for all to see.
